WALKING AWAY

I find another year walking out from under me, that is slipping away oh so conveniently.

Somehow this year will not be one for my nostalgic memory to look back on. So many acronyms act in such acrimony, that the result reaches apocalyptic proportions. My goodness, such English, and dished out in large portions. I jest. Here’s to 2021 being as great as 2020 was gloomy: (Imagine wine glass here.) To one and all, be you - great or small. Happy New Year!

WALKING AWAY
Don’t catch me griping life got your goat
You might not want to hear what I say
One might, as easy without answer
See my back as I’m walking away.

Saint never have been, sinner, oh yes
A hard rascal, or joker at play.
This year’s a goner, thank God for that
So please color me walking away.
