He is born, later crucified, rolls away the stone, walks away, and begins a legacy of love everlasting. Have I oversimplified things? Gosh, I hope so. Theologians spend their whole lives trying to make a simple miracle complex. What’s the big deal, I mean so some guy lived, died, then lived again; how hard is that to understand? Oh, I get it, you are hung up on the forever stuff. Wrap your soul around it, not your mind. From that point on the concept is simplicity in itself. We as Christians, true Christians, not Sunday morning specials will have the same gift given to us. The kicker is that we don’t have to be tortured to death to attain what is offered. Every man, woman, and child are offered love everlasting, it is that simple. What’s your choice?
ONCE
I was a man once much like you
Traveled far and wide telling only truths
Those in power knew not what to do.
So, they killed me
Father knew my message was not done
I rose from death and walked again
Taught love and peace, as His reborn son.
God’s love never dies
