EXCERPT from COLONY BOOK III: THE BEGINNING
As the Creator wanted peace, beauty and light, Darkness craved black, hurt and anger.
Each left the other alone. That truce stayed in place for millennia. Then the Age of Zur, Nui, and Heram came. Heram was the first human to feel greed. He wanted more than peace and happiness. Power was the possession Heram sought. For the first time, Darkness sensed a chance to corrupt the world; It reached out and touched the mind of one of the Creators much-vaunted fourteen Guardians.
Queen Zur, a former Eastern Queen and Guardian, did not realize she had been touched, and was being guided from below.
WHY GUARDIANS?
We all have those times I know I do
When all turns sour our world gets black to.
Then Dark puts those bad thoughts rushing in
One thinks evil, violence, maybe sin.
Lord save me! one shouts to empty sky
Fear not my child your Guardian’s nie.

I am writing number two in my series of marital discord blogs and poems.
Marital disharmony came to mind as I walked up the drive the other night.
Big game today, or every day for us patriots.
A short 55 years have passed since last I shot myself, seems like only yesterday.

A man in church with my wife listened to the sermon and remarked how he guessed we are all “second string angels.”
